Meet Christie!

Christie has been planning and coordinating weddings and events professionally since 2011, and just doing it for FUN her whole life! She tries to apply her passions for event design & organization to each and every event that she has the honor to coordinate. Christie created Mise En Place Events in January of 2014 after planning and coordinating weddings for friends and family in previous years and working in other parts of the event industry. She knew her passion was in planning FUN and memorable events for other people and she’d love to tell you how much FUN she has with each of her clients over a cup of coffee!

Outside of planning fabulous and FUN events, Christie loves to spend time with her family, which includes her partner Aaron and their 3 kids – Tristan, Leah + Noah,  and their dog Donnie, who is the most spoiled mutt EVER! You can usually find her drinking coffee, doing yoga, and having other FUN adventures with her kiddos! Christie is a self proclaimed Apple addict and professional iPhone photographer. Christie is a glass-half-full kind of girl and loves to be around people who have a fun, positive energy and a great sense of humor!!

Meet Amanda!

Amanda joined Mise En Place Events in 2015 as Christie’s Event Assistant. She quickly showed her aptitude for running the show and is now our Lead Event Manager for our couples booking Coordination services. Our clients enjoy working with Amanda and her Event Management Team for their weddings and events and we know you will too! Amanda’s enthusiasm and attention to detail makes her the perfect person to manage the details on your wedding day!

Outside of coordinating fabulous and FUN events, Amanda is a registered nurse and has a wonderful husband, Scott, who is also an RN with Saint Tammany Parish Hospital. Together, they have two awesome kids: Riley and Nathan. Amanda describers herself as an avid reader, a dance mom and a wealth of useless trivia!
